Performing a passive recovery on a Carrier heat pump system. *#%^€\# a company out of Winston Salem did not repair the unit correctly. The system had way too much refrigerant inside of it. The sub cooling was at 70 Degrees F. The correct sub cooling for this unit is 13 degrees F. This overcharged condition was causing the unit to trip a high-pressure switch. This client is elderly and disabled, but now they can be comfortable in their home.
